About Us Living West of the PecosDebbie
and I live just West of the
Pecos in Sheffield which is between Ozana
and Fort Stockton south of
I-10 headed to El Paso. I feel strange calling myself a Webmaster
because this is my first site started at the beginning of November,
2005. Debbie is
helping with ideas and copy
writing. I am employed full time by the Texas Youth Commission as a
Psychologist II. Our interests are varied as this site will
probably reflect.
Debbie
loves music and art and will be primarily responsible for the
"Arts and Crafts" page. She likes to cook, go shopping, traveling and
camping, reading,
listening to music, and pampering our three border collies, Spice,
Katie and Bandit. Debbie is a Willie Nelson fan so be sure to
read her section on Willie! We have been together for 17
years. She is working on a cookbook that we hope to promote via this
site. Debbie likes to visit Mexico. She has traveled to Cancun, Cozumel,
Monterey and most of the border towns including Tijuana, Acuna, Nuevo
Laredo, Boquilles, and Ojinaga In 1977 she went with a group who
camped in the desert across the Rio Grande River from Boquilles.
They road their dirt bikes through the desert. She is a graduate
of LSU and obtained her MS in Psychology at the
University of Louisiana in Monroe.I love the outdoors especially camping, birding, and gardening. We live close enough to the Big Bend National Park to make frequent trips. I also like to cook, in particular Bar-B-Q and have made some money with my cooking. I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas and like Debbie I obtained my MS at the University of Louisiana in Monroe. I received my Ph.D. at the University of Southern Mississippi. I have two grown sons and four grandchildren. We are both native Mississippians. I moved to Texas as soon as possible, within 1 month of birth, to Seymore where my maternal grandparents ran a truck stop cafe. Debbie's family still lives in MS whereas my family lives in AR and LA. Y'all come visit at SeeYouInTexas.com! |
